I am a serious fan of this Japanese Anime series, Evangelion.

They are redoing the film and updating the animation quality, adding more content, etc. I couldn’t be more pleased or stoked.

I actually own the Full Run, including Death & Rebirth and The End of Eva:

  1. The one thing that kept me from watching Evangelion was the fact that it got really sucky toward the end. Or at least that's what everybody told me.

    Cowboy Bebop was my poison back in the day.

  2. Are you freaking serious? I just got way into this series! the English dub for Evangelion 1.0 is coming out in November, but I just watched the bluray release with english subs. Let me tell you, the plot is WAY better. Better animation, easier to understand, they also modified the plot so its simply better. The second one came out in Japan a little while ago.

    @Vy Tran, episodes 25 and 26 were bad because they ran out of cash. The new movies will have a different ending though.

  3. LOL um… the writers seriously compromised their ability to "suspend my disbelief" by asserting that the U.N. is going to be responsible for a program that saves the world.

    I guess fiction is stranger than truth after all.

  6. So, I totally lost this series at the end. Made no sense by about episode 22 or so. I skipped to the last one, and yeah, it totally made no sense. Patience usually isn't my virtue.
