I played a lot of video games when I was young. I was the type of person who had to master the game to feel like I got the value out of the game. It was even worse when I actually really enjoyed the game (or was obsessed).
The Street Fighter Series has been a mainstay even up to today. I spent countless hours practicing moves and “combos” as they are called so that I could be the absolute best when I sought to pummel the living snot out of my opponent.
I practiced, practiced, and practiced some more until my thumbs bled. Ryu and Guile were my top picks.
Here are two videos of some massive combos from the two. Legendary style…!
So, where did you learn some of your discipline…?

I really enjoyed the first one with Ryu. I used to go over my cousins house and play. And anytime I played thats who I got. We also played Mortal Combat and Tekken. On my own I am a BIG RPG guy so Mario, Final Fantasy, Zelda, etc.
As far as discipline I learned a lot of from drawing. Constantly trying to get better. I would spend countless hours drawing pieces back in the day.
Everything I learned about discipline, I learned from Halo 2.
I was a huge, huge Street Fighter fan. Discipline? Well, I need to work on that one. Although blogging has been helping me lately.
Discipline? I learned that the old fashioned way: The school of hard knocks.
Perhaps discipline is the reason we don't play video games anymore? Or marriage. Take your pick.
I learned from Agent Sam Fisher in Splinter Cell
