  1. I feel ya.

For some reason I think that I can use logic and my 5 year old daughter.

Even though she made the mess herself, she does NOT believe me that she is capable of cleaning it up herself.

    Sigh…

  3. Turnabout is fair play.

    “Dad, can I ”

(While doing somthing totally trivial and unimportant but fully self absorbing) “Hmmm….???”

    “Well? Can I?”

    “Mmmm hmmm.”

    “Really?”

    “OK”

    (Long pause)

    “Really, Dad. Now?”

(Stunned look on face) “Now? Can’t you see I’m busy?”

“It will only take a second.”

    “Mmmm hmmm.”

    “Dad!”

“What? I’ll do it when I’m ready, OK? What’s your problem? I ask you to do dishes and you tell me to wait for the commercial. If I have to wait for you to do stuff, why shouldn’t you expect to wait for me to do stuff?”

    “Your impossible!”

    “Mmmm hmmm.”
