Wow. That’s a pretty creative ad.

Here’s what it looks without the “wrap.”

  1. Oh man, I love this. So, so true.

  2. Creative yes, but at the same time what the ad does not describe is that "What is Not Stopped Will Come." And yes I will stop here, and yes there is all sorts of debates about the legitimacy of armed conflicts in the Middle East. But please let us understand that there is multiple sides to every story, and what each of us believe concerning this issue, is probably wrong atleast in some form or fashion.

  3. Ignoring the debates that this ad undoubtedly will cause, I think this is pretty cool. It's a very good idea.

  4. I really like the ad, I think an unfortunate implication is that the soldier is somehow responsible. He is after all pointing the rifle.
But at the same time, the grabbing power of something like this (from the right angle of course) is pretty intense.

  5. yeah. it's obviously got a \”message\” it's trying to tell… but, i just like how creative an idea it is… really impactful.

  7. Creative indeed!

  8. they must of hired someone to do ads for them…this add developed by <a href=”http://www.mccann.com/” target=”_blank”>http://www.mccann.com/
""Army Strong" was developed by McCann Worldgroup, the communications firm the Army hired last December after struggling through a disappointing recruiting year. The overall five-year contract with McCann Worldgroup is valued at $1 billion, with the first two years guaranteed at $200 million annually."

  9. Oh That's amazing and great message!

  10. Very creative and very true. Thanks for sharing

  11. I was inspired to check this out since it had to do with peace, and recently, I wake up asking, what good comes from war? Why do we continue to use this as a means for carrying ourselves in the world from time memorial. I know many will say my question naive of all the negative killers in the world. Yet, now that we are learning so much about what our thoughts can create in our personal lives, why is it not the same on a large global level? What if the fear seeds the war seeds the fear seeds the war. I know many, many people make money off war, but what kind of people are we (meaning we the human race) when we make money in this fashion.
Despite these feelings I don't consider myself a peace activist, just that I am wondering what we gain from war, why its been with us throughout history. I mean, do we ever get to a point where we know enough to ask why we are doing this?
This ad hits the karma button, and its message is strong. Of course, that is what marketing is all about – Why not put money into marketing peace. Strong idea, strong execution.
    Thanks for sharing this.

  12. Design is supposed to be cool, not make a point. What's next? Content on websites, you guys need to relax.
