What [HT] Stands For

Ever see someone type this either at the top or bottom of their blog post?

[HT: xxxxxxxxxxxxx]

It means “Hat Tip”:

Acknowledgment to a contributor toward an effort. Often used on blogs to let people know where the idea for the blog post originated.

For example, the above picture is from Luis Montemayor. So, I might do something like:

[HT: Luis Montemayor]

Cool. Now you know. Go on and be your bad little self in your bloggy blog world.
