Husband Fail Friday! – Buttons…

It’s Friday! Time for another Husband Fail!

This is your opportunity to share silly stories of how your husband pretty much failed you this past week!

Or, if you want to be honest (Mr. Husband) then go ahead and admit what you did and how it was so lame of you to do whatever you did before your wife shows up and does it for you!

Please try not to take yourself (or this post) too seriously…

Me First:

Buttons. We’ve all got them. Apparently I’m really good at pushing them, especially the “buttons” that my wife has.

I pushed a few of them that I shouldn’t have (and I knew that I shouldn’t have while I was doing it… WHACK!) and the result was not so awesome.

Buttons. Buttons. Who’s got the button!

(Where’s that from…?)

So this happens to me everyonce in a while. I am a heavy sleeper. My wife wakes up at the slightest sound. Our soon to be 3 year old daughter was sick two nights ago. Stomach bug. My wife got up, took care of her, took care of the mess, slept in her room so that the next two times she'd be there.

    I was in the bed.

Never realized she was missing until the next morning when I woke up.

    = Fail.

I had a discussion with my wife about a friend of mine who is also newly married and struggles to put down the computer and go to bed before say…4am. I struggle with this as well. After our talk, she kindly reminded me that she shares my friend's wife's feelings, and wished I would take note. The next night, I let her go to bed alone. #FAIL!
I went to bed 20 minutes later or so, not too bad…but not good enough. THIS is my biggest challenge of 2010, and even blogged about it!!!! Trying to get better, but FAILING my way to success I guess…
