My oldest wrote this note and picture for me this weekend:

Thank you for everything you do Appa.

This might be the most precious note I’ve ever received.

Two flowers

I’m the purple flower and she’s the red and green one. I want to frame this note.

My wife and girls are the most important people in my life and they don’t thank me very often for the work that I do; they don’t need to (and they don’t have to), but when it happens I’m over the moon.

It is a small but significant reminder of my chief motivations for why I do what I do. How about you, friends?

Indeed! I would in no way be be as good at what I do or who I am as an individual. My kids are grown now and I can tell you these moments fly by way too fast for my liking. Enjoy them…
