Just Not Ready for the 12-Inch MacBook

April 10, 2015 was a big day for Apple as they re-released what would become the new-ish version of their MacBook line, redesigned and re-engineered to be altogether different and most likely the beginning of an new generation of notebook computers.

There have been (and still are) many prognostications about what this meant for Apple, the MacBook Air line, and even its effect on the future of desktop computing, but this post doesn’t really care about any of those things.

My Personal Startup Checklist

Every year I do an annual clean up of files and folders and general maintenance of my primary machines and backup solutions and what inevitably happens is that I discover old documents or WIPs (“Works in Progress”) that need to be captured in a more discrete and better fashion.

What I’ve done in the past is revisit some of these documents, tidy them up, and then store them for future use but I feel as if my blog should be / could be a better place for storage, as well as an opportunity to help others (if it makes sense).

Desk (PM, MD, NT) December Release Notes

For those who aren’t aware, the App Store is on Holiday Break between December 22 through the 29th. Consequently, you can’t make any new submissions or get anything through the store, especially App Reviews.

But… I just released 3 updates to Desk PM, MD, and NT. Unfortunately, this doesn’t fix the crash issue that a few users have been experiencing but I’m working on that!
