I’m finding a lot more truth via Friedrich Nietzsche these days as it relates to bitcoin and blockchain technologies.
For instance, this quote resonated with me deeply:
You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist.
A completely decentralized system has no clear winners nor losers. This is such a radical departure from our existing systems and thinking that it’s impossible for most people to not only understand and appreciate but also put into practice.
We’ve been born into a world and into cultures that seek to maintain hierarchical order, in pretty much every layer of society, both macroscopic and microscopic.
There must be a winner and a loser for things to operate as they do.
But what if that paradigm is broken? What if we have access to a technology that can radically transform these very paradigms from the core?
It’s scary, isn’t it?
But I’m all-in. Bitcoin and blockchain is simply the most intellectually stimulating thing that I’ve encountered in a very long time. I wake up every single day learning something new and that, my friends, is a real addiction (and one that I don’t mind feeding).
