Autism as Asset

To be honest, I do not consider my own position as being an asset nor liability – I consider it most simply as having a unique perspective on how the world works.

If we are given opportunities to create value for others through our work and, as a consequence, create value for ourselves, well, then everyone wins.

My hope is that we all continue to grow in empathy, awareness, and open-mindedness when it comes to people who are different than ourselves. We have no idea what we stand to gain (or lose) when we are prejudice.
