Becoming Heretics

I really love that she’s grateful of what happened, despite how damaging and hurtful those experiences were. I know what it feels like to be pushed out of those types of religious circles and although it’s been many, many years, I still feel angry and hurt when I think about those times.

We’re all on personal journeys of self-discovery, about who we are and what it all means. I think it’s sad that most people are too afraid to try something different and expand their own personal horizons so that they might truly grow.

The Gungors have bravely decided to become heretics so that they might become more richer and fuller people. That’s worth it, 10 out of 10 times, whatever the cost.
