Designing for ASD?

I saw this via ladugarden:

Although this might seem helpful it over-simplifies a lot of the autistic experience as many folks, including myself, really love bright, contrasting colors.

One thing that is for certain: Every person on the spectrum is unique and there is definitely not a one-size-fits all. I appreciate the effort and thought put into things like “accessibility” but we can sometimes do harm while trying to do good.

Let’s be cautious, open-minded. And, let’s always listen to those impacted and most-affected. It’s in our best interest to create safe places for because our future, as a collective species, depends on it! We need inventors, builders, doers.
