The way I see it, many great businesses and important innovations are actually born out of frustration or even hate.
A very different perspective than the one that you and I have heard many, many times. You may eventually begin to love the solution that you’ve created that solves the initial frustration:
Love might grow — and it’s a wonderful thing if it does — but you don’t need it up front. You can succeed just by wanting something to exist that doesn’t already.
There are a handful of things that do not exist that I’d love to exist and that I detest the idea that they are not available or that no one has set out to build them yet. Perhaps there’s an opportunity there.
