I love this quote by Paul Graham:
Writing doesn’t just communicate ideas; it generates them.
This couldn’t be more true, especially for me. The best ideas have come from me writing them down, sometimes in complete thought but more often in fragments, bits and pieces here and there.
Eventually, they coalesce into something workable, manageable, and something that can be acted upon. It is an infinite source and resource. That’s always a good thing.
And then your job is to simply identify the best ones, find great people to work on them with you, and have fun doing it. It sounds all too simple but it doesn’t have to be complex.
