Fail in the Place You’d Be Proud to Fail

I like this commencement address by Charlie Day (but it’s not super-amazing). What I do like is something that he says a little more than half-way through:

If I was going to run the risk of failure then I wanted to be in the place where I would be proud to fail, doing what I wanted to do.

I like that. Here I am in the center of the technology universe attempting to build something significant. If there was a place to fail then it would be right here, right now, doing something that I want to do.

I like that. Thanks Charlie.
