On Fixing Bugs

This pretty much sums up how I feel right about now. I’m squashing bugs for the big upcoming v2.0 release and every time I do something new appears.

This is kind of just what happens when you build software. It’s not something that makes me incredibly mad, it’s just a constant frustration and irritation.

But, it’s also helping to iron out any of the “kinks” that are going to pop up anyways. You would think, though, that over time you find less and less bugs but that never really happens.

Software is constantly evolving (hence the name “software” instead of “hardware”) and changing and it’s one of the best things about this environment and ecosystem. I’m keen on killing (i.e. fixing) as many as I can but I know that it’s an ever-present battle.

After a much-needed vacation I’m ready to get back into it.
