Frustration to Joy

When you actually take a look at the experiences of Instagram and Twitter in terms of posting a simple image you find yourself clicking a lot of times.

The plus side of posting via Twitter is that you get it done quickly. The downside is that you have to walk through a number of different native apps. And, of course, you don’t get filters.

Using Instagram is ok as well but then having to jump into some posting application to WordPress is an insane hassle.

So when I started researching and developing my solution I wanted to make sure to not only limit the amount of clicks but also reduce frustration to the bare minimum.

Or, if I could, make it enjoyable. I think I can actually do that.

Let’s take a look at the actual experience of both, starting with Twitter:

A total of 7-9 clicks, at the minimum, not counting the required copy.

Of course, you don’t get any filters when you do this. Sad panda.

Now let’s review posting a filtered image via Instagram:

About the same, but remember all those clicks that you have to do to get the right filter and effect. So the process increases tremendously.

But here’s the kicker – you then you have to go and publish to your native WordPress application and insert the image and then post, which can increase the number of clicks to a crazy number.

Ugh.

Pressgram: The Solution

Obviously with Pressgram I’ve created a solution.

You’ll be able to take an image, much like you do with Instagram, but it’ll be posted on your WordPress blog as a post without having to jump into another application.

Done and done. Save yourself time, energy, and a bundle of frustration. Increase joy.
