Some days I wish I could “get rid of it” and there are other days where I love being built and designed in this way.
I have dreams; I had dreams. Many of those dreams have changed, not as a direct result of my own diagnosis but as consequence of deeper and more meaningful awareness of who I am and what this body and mind really needs.
Autism doesn’t have to necessarily stop one from accomplishing their dreams but not all dreams are doable anyways. That’s not the fault of autism, that’s just life (and growing up).
I don’t really enjoy the process of growing up.
