This week is historic, there is absolutely no question about that.
I’m not a political person and when I say that what I mean is that I do not speak publicly about my personal, political views.
And, if I’m to be completely honest, I don’t have strong views for either the two-party system or a specific party therein (I currently am a US citizen, so, yeah…).
But, I do have a value system (as we all do) based on principles that my family and I believe in — consequently, I naturally have opinions about the folks that have held the highest office in the land.
Now, I’m not entirely sure about Trump’s phone chat with the Ukranian President and if that’s an impeachable offense but I do believe that Trump’s behavior, in general, is not becoming of the station that he holds.
I really appreciated this rundown of 40 facts that put Trump’s personal and professional behavior (and credentials) on full-display. I mean, it’s really hard to read some of this stuff and not have your stomach literally turn:
He told four women of color, all citizens and members of Congress, to “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime-infested places from which they came.”
Completely unacceptable. It’s just unacceptable for anyone to tell anyone else the above, full-stop. It’s time that we put an end to all of this and restore a bit of dignity and respect for the office of the President of the United States of America.
