Just Not as Obvious

This is incredible… and a powerful way of communicating something that is very difficult to understand or fully appreciate; as much as I hate seeing someone suffer, it’s an object lesson on what someone has to deal with to get themselves out from under this disease:

Many of us will never, truly, understand this but we can learn how to better talk about it and make sure that these things aren’t taboo.

It’s for freedom that we built systems, programs, and accountability and recovery opportunities for folks like this… and, besides, even if we’re not struggling with something like this we all have our own personal demons to fight with… they just aren’t as obvious.

One of my sisters struggled deeply with drug addiction and is finally living a life of freedom – but, she’ll always carry those struggles until the day she dies.
