I hear this a lot.
In fact, I’ve heard it much more recently, especially with the rise and growth of blockchain, bitcoin, and the many cryptocurrencies that are entering into the larger space every single day.
And historically I’ve heard this mentioned in a number of different contexts, from learning to write software to thinking about online branding to learning to publicly share and express one’s thoughts online via a blog.
I’m not an expert on any of those things, but, I’ve been doing many of them for a very long time and I’ll never tell anyone those regret-laden words:
I wish I had started sooner…
I think about the same thing when it comes to bitcoin and blockchain technology. I am part of something incredibly important, something that will forever change the way we do computing.
And I’m in it, 100%. And 2, 3, 5, 10 years from now, I’ll be looking back at this blog post right here and I’ll be able to say, god willing:
I’m glad I started when I did.
Amen and amen.
They say hindsight is 20/20… right now I feel as if I’m looking as clearly as I possibly can, right now, from where I stand, at the future. Hindsight won’t be any more clear then as it is right now.
That’s all kinds of crazy.
