A while ago I created and published a 50+ page eBook to help other Kickstarter creators get a handle on how to launch their project and gain support.
And now, you can download it for free.
Here’s an overview:
The Kickstart eBook – A Super Practical Guide
Are you really ready to launch your project? Anyone who’s done a Kickstarter, Indigogo, or any of the other crowdfunding services will tell you the same thing: This $#!% is tough! And this eBook can help!
This eBook was designed to help you create both a strategy and a method to tactically raise funds without killing yourself in the process. It’s super-practical and simply gets straight to the point with the stuff you need to know.
What You Will Learn
Proven Strategies & Tactics
You’ll need not just a global perspective but also proven-tactics to pull this off, especially if you’re doing it by yourself. These strategies will help you optimize your time and effort.
Gamification and Community
Your community will ultimately be the lifeblood of your campaign and project and by incentivizing them correctly you can generate killer buzz.
The Art and Science of the Update
Most projects have a terrible update strategy and most projects never update more than a handful of times for the entire campaign! Don’t give up your best asset!
Measurement and Research
If you can’t measure it you can’t improve it. A genius once said that and I can’t tell you how true it really is, especially in a short time-frame where every second counts.
Your Digital Toolkit
I will show you all the main tools that I used to pull this off as a solo project owner and how it not only simplified my life but made it appear that I had a team managing my campaign!
Marketing, Promotion and More
Tips, tricks, and even a perspective-shift that will help you get over the issue of shameless self-promotion. Hey, this is your baby and someone has to champion it.
A Word from the Author
I won’t kid you – a crowdfunding project is really tough stuff! It can literally take the wind out of you and make you wish that you hadn’t actually attempted this crazy thing!
But that’s when you have to remember that you are one of the very few, the very proud, and the very courageous who have attempted to publicly raise funds for something that you passionately believe in while others are clicking around their browsers waiting for the next status update or text message to arrive on their device.
No, you decided that it was far better to try and fail than to not try at all and you should be greatly applauded for that. You are doing something wonderful and I want nothing more than for you to succeed wildly on your project. In fact, I hope you find yourself grossly over-funded!
Go kick some serious ass… and then don’t forget to tell me about it!
Okay, so, enjoy. It’s free now. Get it here. Oh, and it hasn’t been updated since it was first published, so, it might be a bit out of date.
