Meet Ben Terry

He's so hawt!

Yesterday we met Dustin Stout and today we continue on with a few introductions, here’s Ben Terry, one of the other Community Leaders. Here are some key facts about the dude (in his own words):

Hey everybody! Here’s a few things you should know about me:

  1. Graduate of the University of Georgia
  2. IT Coordinator for Sojourn Church
  3. Communications Coordinator for Sojourn Network
  4. Seminary student at Southern Seminary
  5. Social Media consultant for Pastors and Church Planters.

But to be honest, I’m really nobody special.

I do, however, have a great desire to be faithful and diligent in doing all of my work with excellence. This desire for excellence is not for my fame or glory, but it is a desire to see my gifts and talents used in such a way that glorifies God.

Making God more famous is at the core of who I am, and everything else I do flows out of that central belief that God is made more famous when I am fully satisfied Him.

Now I realize we do not all share this same belief, but where we can find common ground is in our desire to do our work with excellence. And as a community leader, my role will be to facilitate conversation that helps and motivates each other to do our work with excellence.

My Current Projects:

One thing you will learn about me is that I am constantly working on many different projects. But the biggest project that I am working on right now is Sojourn Network. Sojourn Network is a network of churches that have partnered together to plant more healthy churches.

We just launched Sojourn Network back in January so it is very similar to a start-up business. Some of my roles in Sojourn Network are to lead the communication plan and execution, manage all social media content, design the website, and lead big projects with an awesome team.

So hopefully by getting a small taste of who I am and some of what I do will help in building relationships with my fellow tentbloggers.

And the joy of being tentbloggers are the connections we can make. So if you are in Louisville or attending T4G this year then lets connect and continue building these relationships.
