What I want more anything is to have more chances to get it right, more chances to make you happy, and more chances to show you that neuroplasticity is a real thing.
Neuroplasticity allows the neurons (nerve cells) in the brain to compensate for injury and disease and to adjust their activities in response to new situations or to changes in their environment.
It is the brain’s ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections throughout life.
This is pretty much the only hope that I have (save one) if I’m going slowly get better and better at remembering special calendar dates and events.
I’ve been terrible in the past. This year has been barely better, but, at least I tried this time – progress is progress, right?
I want more chances and more time to get it right. Or, at the very least, more time to try to get it right. Perfection was never the chief end and goal anyway.
Up from here… right?
