Found this randomly (I honestly can’t remember how) and realized I had never shared it. It’s a brief little chat about the concepts behind Jeff Shinabarger’s recent book, More or Less. Here’s what it’s about:
It all started with one idea: What would happen if we created a culture in which we gave away whatever was more than enough for us? How would our habits change if we shed the excess of money, clutter, and food in our lives? In More or Less, readers will learn how to draw a line of “enough” in their consumer choices, how to see generosity as a chance to experience freedom in a greedy world, and how to make small changes now that will help others forever.
My life has been a never-ending battle of reducing the number of things that I’m attempting to juggle vocationally and instead focusing on the things that really matter. I suppose this battle will never quite be over until I die but I believe it’s a battle worth fighting.
