My beautiful daughter turned a magical 4 years old today. She’s grown up faster than I could have possibly imagined – I can barely stand it.
But there’s one thing for sure: She will always be my little baby girl. I can’t help it. I can’t imagine not wanting to grab her and just smush my lips into her chubby cheeks.
I wonder if she’ll let me do that when she’s a teenager, especially in public…
The love that I have and feel for her is beyond words. Speechless.
Does it ever slow down?
Sue made a fantastic 6-layer cake, completely homemade! She also made chocolate-covered pretzels as well!
Perhaps the funniest thing ever: Her preschool doesn’t allow candles so we had to download an iPhone app that simulated the act of blowing out the candles. Didn’t work on the first blow, but it eventually went out!
Roenne has a fantastic teacher and I couldn’t thank her enough for her service (and the rest of the Weekday Team!) does day-in and day-out. They are amazing and are impacting her life in eternal ways.
Thanks for all you guys do.
Pete and Susan came over later that night and shared some laughs and some cake. Uncle Petey even had some time to read some neat stories (Roenne loves stories! I hope she never loses this love…).
You are my “champion.” I love you.
Ended the evening on Skype with Roenne’s grandparents and Aunt Debbie! Technology is amazing.
What will year 5 bring? Perhaps we’ll just start with a new sister…
