If this is the case with your work then I think it’s time to go find another place of employment:
Now, by many accounts, Sunday night has become the new Monday morning. In 2014, 32 percent of workers polled by Gallup said their employers generally expect them to check e-mail and stay in touch remotely outside of normal business hours.
I believe that great work can be done without sacrificing your health, both physically and mentally. It’s more than just good intentions, the organization (and leadership) has to practice what they preach.
And, unfortunately, a lot of organizations don’t do that. This is called lip-service and is akin to lying.
