Teens Today: Same Differences?

Yup – I can’t imagine life without smartphones anymore.

And, I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing. But, it means that, as a parent, I have new (and exciting…?!) challenges that previous generations of parents never had.

Smartphones and social media are now an almost universal feature of teenage life in the United States.

More than nine-in-ten U.S. teens ages 13 to 17 say they have access to a smartphone or use social media, according to a 2018 Pew Research Center survey

So, what are parents thinking?

We’ve definitely “punished” our children by limiting use.
Yup. I know that feel bro.
Really? Wow. I don’t think I’m doing a “good job” at all…
I don’t worry as much as I’m told I should worry…
