I’m finding this truth to be even more poignant and personal the longer that I live on this green planet.
For some, the highs feel extremely high and the lows feel… well… low. But, at the end of the day, many of those events are simply not as big of a deal as I thought they were, especially
in the moment.
Because everything, in the moment, can seem ridiculously important and we behave and act as if the very fate of the universe rests on our very capable shoulders.
None of that, as far as I know, is true.
Emotions come and go faster than we even realize and they fade from our mind and memory quickly. The feelings that we feel via our momentary struggles are, truly, momentary.
The more I lean into this the “lighter” life becomes. That’s nice.
