V2: Design Update

As Desk has matured so has the rest of the environment and operating system around it, namely, OS X Yosemite (and even more so with El Capitan coming out this fall). The expectations of the consumers have also pivoted and changed.

Consequently, I’ve been working on a design overhaul that’ll get things a bit closer to a native “look and feel,” one that’ll give not only a refresh but also an updated user experience.

For instance, I’m experimenting with a left-side navigation for some of the features and trying on both for size. Here’s a preview of what it could like if we moved a few things to the left-side of the app’s window:

Again, I’m not entirely sure how I feel about the left as the location, but, I thought I’d give it a go. Love to know your thoughts.
