This is really the only panacea, the only strategy for working in startups.
You must remain hopeful when others will not.
You must trust in the impossible when others have already moved on. You must believe in yourself (and your founding team) and you must believe that what you’re doing matters, not just to you but to the world… the world just doesn’t know it yet.
You must continue to put one foot in front of the other.
This isn’t necessarily courage (although it sometimes is); it’s optimism as a tool. It’s weaponized and ready to be used efficiently and effectively for folks who do not know that they have a problem and that you have a solution that they desperately need.
